Rachel and Drew (with Ashley's help) made me and Big Daddy this cute little turkey cupcake. There were 4 of them, but they were so tasty that by the time I thought of taking a picture there was only 1 left....

I got to see my sweeties....all 3 of them (and Ashley too). Ashley picked up Rachel for a couple of days to play with Drew and they met me at Chick fil a for lunch.

238/365 11/23/09 It just keeps on blooming....
I know I've blogged about my morning glory before. I keep thinking that it's done blooming....but it's not. It is so beautiful...in reality the blooms are so much more blue than they appear in this photo.

237/365 11/22/09 She made it to 30 weeks!!!
Well Jackie and baby girl have made it to an important milestone in this "unplanned journey of weeks of bedrest". Her doctor was hopeful that she would make it to this point and now every day makes a huge difference in the NICU stay. We are praying for a few more weeks.......

236/365 11/21/09 Thanksgiving Dinner
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Mike's mother's house today. His brother was there with his cute kids, Clayton 11, Lauren 6, and Grayson, 3. I had a spontaneous photo shoot with Lauren and Grayson (mostly Lauren). She was a fabulous model and we had so much fun. And by the way, I did not photoshop those gorgeous blue eyes!!

234/365 11/19/09 A crazy Christmas photo shoot....
Ashley brought the boys over today for a sweet little Christmas photo shoot so she could get some really good pictures for her Christmas cards.........hmmm. I got everything ready to go - the backgrounds, checked the lighting, thought of cute poses to do, etc.etc...
Well first of all Miles needed to eat and then nap. In the meantime Drew was accepting his bribes (candy) to take some good pictures and not taking a nap. So by the time Miles woke up, Drew was, well just a little --excited? wild? silly? and emotional.....
Ashley got them dressed in their matching pajamas, hoping for the cutest shots ever. SO......here a few from the 300 + I took (just to get an idea of what I'm talking about)
I can't help but laugh (you know, when your the grandparent you can do that)......
I think by time we called it quits, Ashley was literally sweating and at her wits end but we did end up with a few- a very few- good ones that she can use. Oh the joy of 2 1/2 year old boys!!!

233/365 11/18/09 New Carpet...
I went to help my parents get ready for their new carpet installation. There was lots of things to move before these guys could start.
My mom and dad have lived in this house since 1956- 53 years in the same house!!!
They brought me home from the hospital to this house and 50 years later..... it's still home.

After. 232/365 11/17/09 Miles is 3 months old today..
Miles is already 3 months old....time is going by so fast...He is growing, smiling, cooing, rolling over, and holding his head up good on his tummy. He loves a schedule, is happiest in the morning, and likes to lay on the floor to watch everything going on around him.
He's a very good, sweet, and easy baby!!
