I've been working all day making these yummy tutus in spring colors for a special little photo shoot tomorrow. I am hoping for some really, really cute pictures of 6 little girls (and one of them is Rachel).............Little girls, tutus, warm spring day, my camera.....perfect!!

85/365 03/28/10 Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Today is Daddy's 77th birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! We celebrated yesterday with lunch, cake, and a great family visit.

While I was there I took some cute photos of my nephews, Peyton and Paxton, beside my Dad's old rusty truck.

And today I have officially been blogging for 1 year!!

I know that these aren't technically the best photos....the wind was blowing like crazy and Rachel's hair is everywhere, the sun was too bright, etc. But there is something about these pictures of Rachel and Drew....an innocence, a purity, a childhood sweetness. I just love them!

80/365 03/23/10 Drew and Nana Time!

Drew and I had "Nana Time" today. We went to the Ft Worth Botanical Garden to see the Butterfly Exhibit (the same one I went to a couple of weeks ago with Rachel). We also had lunch at the Purple Cow Diner. Drew didn't really care for the purple milkshake but

loved the burger and fries....

Then we were on to the butterfly exhibit and he was so excited! He was very interested in finding all the butterflies on the brochure.





This one, the blue morpho, looks like this on the outside....

and this is it's wings on the inside. It's hard to believe it's the same butterfly!

He loved the fish in the fish tank, too.

I got these cute photos of him finally looking and smiling. Want to know how??? He was throwing acorns at me!!! He thought that was really funny.....

He was out about 2 minutes after we got in the car...... It was a great day!

I went to the Dallas Arboretum for the Dallas Blooms event. It was a perfect day- sunny, warm, with hardly any wind. The flowers were absolutely glorious!! It was like my heaven. Pinks, oranges, red, yellows, purples. Just beautiful!!
