This butterfly, a pipevine swallowtail, was hard to get a good shot of since he never stops moving his wings even when feeding. The blue is bright and iridescent in the sun and he has 7 orange spots on the underside of his wings!! He's very beautiful and rare to see in my garden. Wednesday, July 29, 2009

This butterfly, a pipevine swallowtail, was hard to get a good shot of since he never stops moving his wings even when feeding. The blue is bright and iridescent in the sun and he has 7 orange spots on the underside of his wings!! He's very beautiful and rare to see in my garden.
